A ribbon-cutting event in 2023 celebrated the success of a campaign to redesign, renovate, and expand cancer and blood disorder care at Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville.
$2 Million Lead Gift from THE PLAYERS Championship
This led to the opening of the THE PLAYERS Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. At 12,000 square feet, the new facility is twice the size of the former space.
$1 Million Donated from the Eckstein Family
This gift created The Eckstein Family Infusion Suite — Nemours Children’s now has a first-rate pediatric cancer and blood disorders center in Jacksonville that complements its world-class care.
